What
“Jordi Vilà presents…” is a gastronomic encounter with a chef or someone from the food and culinary world organized by Jordi Vilà and the alkimia restaurant team whose goal is to savor a lunch or dinner.

Who
The guests at these encounters are chefs or someone from the food and culinary world outside of Barcelona with whom Jordi Vilà has some kind of relationship, whether for their views about cooking or the path they have taken.

When
The encounters are usually planned for outside of restaurant business hours, on the weekend.

Where
Currently, the encounters take place in the private rooms at the restaurant alkimia. However, we’re open to organizing an encounter (if feasible) somewhere else.

How
The encounters are structured around 5 round tables (each for six people) in the private rooms at the restaurant alkimia. Anyone who would like to attend the encounter (after the date and price have been announced) can complete the purchase of their ticket by contacting the alkimia team by e-mail at reserves@alkimia.cat

Each ticket includes a seat at a table to enjoy the menu and suggested wines. The ticket is not exclusive. You can give it to your best friend or sell it to the highest bidder;) Like a concert or theater ticket. Depending on the activity, the price will vary.

Why
During these difficult times and after many months in the pandemic desert, falling back in love with Barcelona means, more than anything else, to breathe life back into the city. Each grain of sand is naturally linked to the world of gastronomy;)
